Dear Friends and Supporters of Bandera County Meals on Wheels:
Please allow this letter to introduce you to Bandera County Meals on Wheels and the Longhorn Charity Golf Tournament for which we are seeking your support.
Bandera County Meals on Wheels is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation serving the needs of seniors in Bandera County , Texas. The Silver Sage Community Center prepares nutricious mid-day meals Monday through Friday in their commercial kitchen facility. Volunteers deliver these delicious nutritionally-balanced meals daily to seniors throughout Bandera County. Additionally, in house congregate meals are provided Monday through Friday for those who like to eat in the Silver Sage Dining Room.
Approximately 100 meals are served daily by the kitchen staff and volunteers at the Silver Sage. Cost per meals are minimal for the seniors. As you are aware, the cost of food and gas has increased over the recent months and will continue to do so. In order to continue to provide nutritious meals for our seniors, your support is needed.
Please plan to join us this year in the Longhorn Charity Golf Tournament on October 11, 2014, as all proceeds will go to benefit Meals on Wheels. We are seeking broad community participation and your involvement may be as a business, raffle prize donor and/or golfer participation. We also greatly appreciate individual cash donations. An Awards dinner for the golfers,sponsors, and friends will follow the tournament at the Longhorn River Stage 1307 Main Street, Bandera, Texas 78003.

ENTRY FEE: $75.00 per person. Includes green fee, cart, team prizes, breakfast taco, 1 beer ticket and dinner.
(Additional meals can be purchased for $10.00 adults, $5.00 12 and under)
FORMAT: 4 Person Scramble
TEAM PRIZES: 1st place $700.00, 2nd place $400.00 , and 3rd place $200.00
INDIVIDUAL PRIZES: Closest to pin and Hole in one contest, Longest drive competition.
